Why You Should Attend....

This session will explore practical tips, tools, and strategies for individuals representing themselves in court or at formal hearings such as Tribunals. It’s designed to support litigants in person with insights on preparation, presentation and navigating the legal process with confidence.

We’ll be joined by John Barwell, founder of Legal Lens, who will talk about the challenges faced by litigants in person across civil, employment and family courts, including common procedural pitfalls and practical strategies to overcome them. He’ll share tools for effective case management, tips on structuring evidence and narrative, ways to identify judicial bias, and introduce supportive tech like Legal Lens RAG Flow.
