Online symposium via Zoom.Format
There'll be a great line-up of speakers plus ample scope for discussion and debate. Why you should attend
The overall purpose of this symposium is to provide an opportunity for a range of stakeholders to share their thoughts and insights into what could and should be done to drive the positive, progressive and purposeful reform that is needed in the financial planning and wealth management space.
We’ll be covering questions such as:
- – Is the FSCS levy out of control?
- – Financial Planning v Financial Advice v Guidance – do consumers understand the difference?
- – What scope is there to improve the way the sector is regulated?
- – Pensions and investment scams remain a huge problem – what more should be done?
- – Are charging models sufficiently transparent and client-centric yet?
- – Does vertical integration lead to unmanageable conflicts of interest?
- – What should be done about the problematic porosity of the regulatory perimeter?
- – Is ESG the saviour of active asset management?
- – The trust deficit persists – who’s at fault?
…and we still have capacity to add in other hot topics that you would like to suggest – so let us know what’s front-of-mind for you so that we can shine a light on it.
